I always have tools in the truck and am happy to tinker on rigs in the parking lot. Keep tuning on Aaron's (Resto4Dad) truck as he keeps changing things on the motor therefore changing his tuning requirements.
Tofan, if you have a task that can be done in a parking lot then just let me/us know so we know to bring any specialty tols or scanners that may be needed. I'll also let you know when I am able to get the Injection pump and have you come give me a hand.
Also, as with the last meet, if a guy wants to carpool from the Olympia area let me know. Sportster Mark will probably be my carpool buddy but when I pick up my crew cab then I'll be able to fit a few more full size guys.

Also don't forget my house with all the tools and some lighting are
less than 10 minutes drive away.
Somebody call the Capt'n?!?! Whazup boyz? We all tend to get unnerved this time of year. Don't let it get to ya. After next week (after some of us sober up) we'll find ourselves in a new year that will probably take months to learn to write 2015 I know I will. Sure wish I could make it down sound that far to meet ya'll toe to toe and face to face. I'll bet there are some great stories to be had.
Meantime, a belated Merry Christmas and may we all survive New Year's.

Capt'n
I do wished we could at least once a year get everyone in one place
for a big Meet.
As nice as that would be, the last 2 times we tried kind of flopped. It's hard even with plenty of planning time. However, traveling farther north is an option. We did it once when we were by the Comcast arena. I forget who was there besides Sean and I. Or the pagliacci meet.
On the subject of yearly vs monthly meeting thread...
I'm absolutely in favor of the yearly thread idea.
I think a monthly thread is a great idea.
Me? Indecisive? Never!
Seeing as traveling from out here in the hinterlands to the big cities down south isn't very likely, it makes no nevermind to me.
OTH, you all could come up to the San Juan Islands for a meeting? Come see how the other half lives. In fact, we host an annual pizza bash every New Years Day from 1pm-6pm. We make the pizza, fresh from scratch, and you bring the appetite. Capt'n you're probably the only one in the area, but if you fancy a trip to Orcas feel free to come over.
New years is a bit short, but we could plan a trip there. I'm sure at this point my mustang would make the drive. Or the pickup when it's legal. I've never done anything involving the ferry so it would be an interesting experience.
At the least I can fit 4 guys comfortably and a 5th smaller guy in the CC and we can just split fuel/ferry costs for a group carpool, it would work as other than Sportster-Mark I'm the farthest guy south that goes to meets.
Other members that have CCs and down south are Ted in Yelm, Ryan in Milton, Sean in Puyallup area, Leo off 167. That's a lot of empty seats in trucks, other than Ted as he usually has his 3 adorable little ones with him.
That is very true, it would all depend on the day. I'd probably have to try to get the night off from work since I'd assume it would be early in the day.
Yeah the ferry part is a major factor getting on and off the island. It's $31.40 for a vehicle under 22' including the driver and $12.95/passenger, round trip. Cost is only part of it. The main hassle is the schedule. Ever since Tim Eyman gutted the the ferry system of much of its revenue the schedules up here have really been bad and just get worse. Here's the schedule for New Years Day: WSDOT - Ferries - Schedule: Anacortes to Orcas Island
Of course you've got to get up to Anacortes as well. Figure 1-1/2 hours from downtown Seattle with no traffic issues. You need to plan to be at the ferry terminal an hour before the ferry if you really need to be on a specific boat. One never knows with timing; it can be on overload with an hour to go, or you can arrive a minute before departure time and just drive on.
I mentioned sort of as a joke since I figured nobody would come up that far for an afternoon of pizza. But if folks want to come up you'd be more than welcome. I'll be making up 10 pounds of pizza dough and a few quarts of sauce. We have a wide variety of toppings, even anchovy for those that want it. The official hours are 1pm-6pm, but if you arrive on the midday boat that's cool.
My wife's estranged cousin, baby was born with heroin in it's system so DSHS won't give her custody and we are the only people with our $#!T together who applied for custody so the baby doesn't go to the state.
