Sorry I haven't had the time to get on the computer lately, been pretty swamped.
Would post pictures but my phone keeps uploading to the wrong Photobucket account.
Meet pretty good, got Aaron's truck finished the next day. I had worked on his truck till around 2AM then he came over the next day and we got it done, sometime in the wee hours of the night I had broken loose the lug nuts on both rear wheels and we only inspected one side the next day as it all looked recently replaced. I had forgotten about the loose nuts and the wheel started to come loose on his drive home, he cought it in time but it marred up the wheel and drum holes so he has since ordered all new wheels, I feel like a real POS about this and trying to help him out with it.
Dylan's Bronco has been fighting the use of GM products and is still at my house (not an issue whatsoever) and he got a couple JY brake pressure differential valves today so we can finish it. The GM Hydroboost unit has required quite a bit of troubleshooting and will be the last GM unit I put on a Ford as I am dissatisfied with some of the issues we've had, though it should be just fine when done it really makes the earlier F-450 units I usually use look like bolt-on units.
No need to wait for a meet to work on your rig, just let me know when you want to come down. I need to go up north to get my parts truck, vice and welder so I'll try to let you know when I'm up that way.
As for the next one I haven't even had time to clean up, also since I unloaded everything that was in my truck I need to build more/new shelving and rearrange/organize it more... a lot more.
Let us know if you need any help rearranging. As for my turd, I appreciate the help and agree that this will be the last gm booster I mess with. In the future I may even swap to a ford for a more "natural" feel. However, this has been a great learning experience for me. I almost feel like I could do a hydroboost on my own now. Motivation is a big part of learning.
For the next meet, I'm open to suggestions.
Sort of related, August is coming up pretty quick, anyone planning to visit Charlene? I have to plan it out but I should be able to make it.
It is quite a busy summer for all of us. I will be picking up the house hunting around August/September. However, I'm still down for a meet heading east will work if I can plan ahead.
ill have to plan accordingly as for this months meet. although ill try my best to make it to this one but i am pretty busy myself. there are so many things i wanna learn about cars in general, because im so inexperienced you guys seem like the good crowd to learn from!
Well all my plans just got kicked to the curb. So mow most of the month
is open. I was thinking Friday the 26th or Saturday the 27th at Thun Field
or if people want we can always go to Jimmy Macs in Renton.
