Can anyone give me more info on this code? I'm on the road right now towing a 36' fifth wheel. This code started before I left home 4,000 miles ago.
I'm gonna send this one down to the 6.0L Powerstroke forum. The folks down there will be better able to help you with this. It could be the glow plug, the glow plug control module, or anything in between. Of course this can only cause you issues on a cold start, and if it's only affecting that one glow plug it won't make the truck inoperable.

The code indicates either a faulty glow plug, glow plug circuit, or faulty GPCM. You can test the glow plug and circuit with an ohm meter. It should give you "X" number of ohms (not sure the exact value). If you get nothing then you need to separately test the circuit and glow plug. It's not going to be a great concern as warm as the weather is, but I'd get it fixed before cold weather sets back in.
