I was wondering if there is a place where I can buy a new air filter housing clamp (the snap clamp where you change the filter) for not a lot of money? Mine has rusted out, and I don't want to change anything else. The truck is a 98 with the 5.4, Thanks. D.B.
Go to a big box store ....if you have a Menards...Lowes...Home Depot...places like that. Go to the plumbing section. I have seen some big band clamps in that area before.
I think he means the cage/curled cam lock clamp that holds the filter housing together?
If so I would think an auto wrecker would be the best bet.
LOL.....WTH was I thinking. Before I put my Mustang away for the winter I put on a K&N FIPK....that uses a band clamp to hold on the filter. Must be where my mind was...
