Air Filter Change

I am supposed to be getting an air filter from a friend off his lightning, and am curious if there is any difference in the filter that it will not "agree" with my 150 5.4L.

They should be identical. Even 4.6 and 5.4 filters are the same.

Is this the stock filter or an aftermarket (k&n) type filter? Are you talking about just the filter or an intake tube with filter?

I was finally able to get the filter. its actually the entire stock air box asembly off the Lightning.

Hmmmmmm,..... I thought the Lightning filter was relocated from the original position of the normal 5.4 engine due to the Supercharger? Might wanna look into this!

I have a Airforce-1 system on mine which was sold to me by a friend who had a Supercharger installed and he needed to relocate his Air Filter system.

Yeah the filter box and plumbing are all different but i am thinking i might swap it out b/c it will have less restriction. i am going to look into mounting it.
