Momentary stalling
Symptoms: Yesterday after driving a few miles I tooted the horn and the engine and radio died with each blow, the cell phone which is always on also chirped off and back on. I tried an experiment while continuing down the road. I turned the headlight on and off quickly. The engine stalled with each off and on and the radio again reacted. I left things alone for the next 30 or so miles until I was home. Once home I tried the same things and nothing happened at the same speeds and also while in the driveway.
When the problems did occur I noticed the battery indicator dip sharply with each on and off of the horn and lights. Once home it moved slightly with each on and off as it nomally does.
I know I have developed a ground of some sort. Any ideas where?
The horn is an air horn and compressor driven. That is, it and the lights pull significant current which is to say the ground may always be there but these items make it show itself under the right conditions.
Any ideas are welcome.

That would explain why after you gave it some time (where it could recharge) the problem went away.
Also could be bad/loose/corroded battery cables.
