How many horns?

I recently bought a 73 F100 short bed. Bare bones model. It has 4 horns under the hood. They all appear to be the exact same. My question is, is this correct? Or did a previous owner add horns? There was no horn pad so I have not tried to blow the horns. My daughters truck does not have 4. Will 4 horns all blow loud? or will they be each quieter?

Two horns only as original. While both look the same, one is high pitch, t'other is low pitch...will be marked Hi - Lo.

Vinyl horn pad same: 1971/77 F100/350 (except 1975/77's with Speed Control) & 1974/77 Bronco.

There are two versions. Ranger XLT is wood grained, all others have a black camera case finish.

Both versions obsolete, but have been repro'd, available from all the repro parts sellers.

I would hazard a guess that 4 horns would in theory blow louder than 2. Just because there's more objects to make noise ya know?

Hey when I first bought my truck, it only had the high pitch horn...damn thing sounded like a moped!
