NEED HELP! NEW HERE!

Hey guys I got a 1998 Lincoln Navigator - I bought it with 134k miles and its been running great. Last night when i got to my car i noticed something weird. My defrost vents were blowing air the truck was off. I was like thats weird dont know how long thats been going on. I drove home and turned the truck off and it was back on again. I couldn't get it to turn off. Then I started it back up and let the engine run , turned it off and it was back to normal. Any Idea. Only clues I can give is that I get hot air all the time which is fine because we are in winter but i never get cold air with a/c on and temps all the way down. I noticed that on a slighlty warmer day we had it was 70 and the vents were blowing hot air. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys/gals

I'd suspect a bad blower relay. It's on the floor board just to the right of the base of the steering column. It shares a relay block with the turn signal flasher unit.
