A/C Stopped Blowing
I recently bought a 1980 F-150 Ranger Explorer 4x4 with a 400 cui engine. Last weekend I took it out for a drive and turned the A/C up all the way and it blew room temperature air. Then I turned it off and when I started it back up, the A/C wouldn't turn on at all and blow air. But my heater still blows air. I checked the fuses and the blower switch but that's about it. I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to air conditioning. So if any of you can give me a few tips or pointers on what's wrong and if something needs to be replaced or fixed. Thanks for your time.

A/C Stopped Blowing
Is this a factory air system or add on? Controls for heat and a/c on same panel or a/c controls seperate? I read your post as blower works when you want heat and does not blow when you turn it to a/c. Or are you telling me you have hot air blowing in both heat and a/c settings?
