Extending Fuel Range
Hi, I have a 2006 FX4 Short Bed and wanted to know I the 51 gallon Titan was the biggest OEM fuel tank replacement? It gives you about 22 gallons more but wanted to review If there are any with more volume?

I've had the Titian tank in my truck for about 6 years now and love it. I was going to do an in bed tank but didn't want to give up the space. I ran into someone who had the Titian and rear tank that replaced the spare tire for even more range. Something to consider if 51 isn't enough.

I spoke with Titan they don't make the replacement tank anymore for the 6.4ft. ext. cab trucks. It sounds like maybe the die broke and they don't have enough demand for the shortbox versions. However you can get the '08 and up version and retrofit it (so I'm told).
I bought the spare tire aux. tank last week from Amazon just in the process of installing it. Not cheap but figured it's the best option for extended range.
