Funny we're all talking about finances in here. I had lunch with a buddy of mine yesterday and among other things we talked about, he was excited to tell me that within 2-3 months he is looking to be completely debt free -- INCLUDING his mortgage. This guy is probably 30? Really got me started thinking about my finances again too. We don't have much debt, just our mortgage really, but man, what would my monthly finances look like if my house was paid off... Sheesh. I'd sell a kidney to have my house paid off! He has me thinking now about refinancing down to a lower rate and a 15 year note...

There are some houses here that we could've paid cash for. Doesn't mean I'd want to live in them. Lol
