You should get a lot of use and enjoyment out of that one, Nate. We had a bunk floor plan similar to that when the boys were young. We made lots of good memories in it, used it for several years. Congrats!
Thanks, guys. I'm stoked about it. We've been looking at bunkhouses for a while and we initially wanted something with bunks for all three kids, but it's really tough to find a model with 3 or more bunks that is less than 30' long (at least in the price range we're looking it is). This one gives us 2 bunks, a convertible sofa, the queen bed in the front, and the dinette can stay the way it is. It's a compromise, but one of the places we camp regularly I don't know if we could get anything much bigger than that into it.
At any rate, I've started a list of things to do to it already, but it looks to be in real solid shape.
Oh, and the wife and I talked it through last night.... I'll be calling this afternoon and reserving our site for RRE '15. We won't be able to head down early like we did last year, but if we leave Thursday morning (or maybe even Wednesday night) we should be able to roll in on Thursday and make it all work out. I'm stoked!! I'm ready to fuel up the truck and head out right now!

Nice camper Nate! I would like to get a newer camper, but that old pop up has been so good to me, I haven't been able to do it. It's actually in excellent shape for its age and it doesn't leak a drop. Even with all the rain we had at rre it never leaked once. Can't argue with that.
Are you planning to bring the ugly drum smoker again this year?
Absolutely! I may bring another or have mine modified for automated smoking action!
I also plan on bringing some RC stuff. I will have to ask if they will allow it, but if my sr design project is completed and working well enough I hope to program it to do a few circles above the campgrounds to get some sweet vids and pics.
Sounds like your senior design project is a drone, Alex...lol...
lol Its a fixed wing airplane that is 'semi-autonomous'
Its illegal to have a fully automated aircraft...unless you're the govt.
For our advanced class at aero competition we need to drop a 3lb 'payload' from 150 feet onto a 10ft radius circle.
We are given the GPS coordinates of the circle's center.
Essentially we want our plane to self-stabilize and direct itself towards the center at the specified height and calculate when to release the payload.
Itll have a sweet camera mounted to it and display everything back in real-time to my laptop!
When did you do all this??? You were 20 minutes from my house! And if you did it with Ace, then you probably met my oldest daughter and her husband!
So that clutch you're putting in will handle pulling the sled ?.........Hmmmmmm
It will handle it. Is it the desired clutch for sled pulling? No, but it will take it. The clutch is a sprung hub ceramic DD. In a dedicated puller you would want a solid hub sintered iron dual or triple disc at least, but my little clutch will handle a few hooks here and there or launches at the track. It's the same clutch I run in my OBS and I've launched that truck in 3rd gear at 4000+ RPM probably 60+ times and it's still holding up just fine somehow. I didn't even do a break in on that clutch. It got installed and trailered straight to the drag strip. lol
