Not near as tidy as spending money for a new harness but I just wire one circuit at a time until I'm done. I have a few old harnesses laying around I get different colored wire, connector plugs ect from. If I know several will be in the same area, I run them into the loom first, then trim to fit and crimp on the ends.
The column you're planning to use is not one of the usual columns used, so you will most likely need to modify the kit to work. Once you know what each wire in the column does you should be able to match the function to the wiring kit. As for other components, unless you are doing a totally original restoration with all original accessories you will have to do a little work to the connections. A universal kit will not be a perfect plug and play, but take your time and you can do it.
