Distributor Gear and Duraspark I or II?

Hi all,
I bought a F100 from 1974, going thru a full rebuild of the engine, I am at the point of choosing a distributor. What I heard is the Duraspark were introduced in 1975, so my truck will have the old point style dizzy.
After cleaning and opening the one who came with the truck, it looks like it is a Duraspark! I know nothing about Duraspark, I read some stuff and it seems there are really reliable dizzy. I opened it up and saw the mechanical advance, and it was on the L21, I changed it to the L18.

So now I am thinking of keeping it, I will change the cap by a bigger one, and change the gear for my Lunati hydraulic roller cam.

I have to say I am really confuse about which type of gear I should use. Few weeks ago I chat online with the tech from Lunati and he told me to use a bronze gear, I say well ok, I will do that!

Then I read a bunch of stuff concerning the premature wear of those bronze gear, specially when running a high volume oil pump as I will do.
I learned there is some other gear material who can be use with hydraulic roller cam.

So today I chat again with a tech from Lunati, and he told me I could use a Heat treaded cast distributor gear (from Lunati: V8 351C-400, 332-428, 429-460, Steel Gear) but they work for a Shaft OD of .530''
I believe my dizzy have a shaft OD of .460''!!!

I decided to ask the tech from Summit, and the guy told me I should not use bronze!! and he ask me what engine I had and send me a link to a gear who work for 289 and 302 engine with the shaft OD of 468''.

I have to say, I am so confused. I am going to contact Lunati again to make sure there is no misunderstanding!

Here is the link for the cam:
Voodoo Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Cam - Ford 352 - 428 262/270 - Lunati Power

Here is the distributor:

DuraSpark introduced in 1974, but not all vehicles came with it until 1976.

1977 uses a different dizzy cap than 1975/76.

1975/76 dizzy cap (D5AZ-12106-A blue) replaced B7AZ-12106-A (brown), which was the H/D aka HiPo dizzy cap used 1957/74.

1957/73 & 1974 dizzy cap (B7A-12106-A black) is the same with/without DuraSpark.

The one I have is L21-L18 and I am looking for a L13-L10.

I need the ID number off the dizzy. I see where you posted a pic of it, but I cannot make out the 3rd digit of the prefix.

Thanks for the help guys,

It looks like I am going to have to forget the idea of using the duraspark!
I have a lot of different opinion concerning the distributor gear I should use with my Voodoo Lunati roller cam made of billet steel.

The guy from Lunati told me to use their Heat treated cast distributor gear (Lun89100). So I think I will go with this gear. But it is only available for a shaft of .530'' OD. So I will not be able to use the Duraspark!

I heard maybe MDS have the OD shaft of .530''
So maybe I will have to get one of those MSD8595, I heard different opinion on this one too, some say it come with a melonised gear and other said it come with an iron gear!
Anyone have any experience with hydraulic roller cam and distributor gear????
