I have a 95 powerstroke and I bought a trailer brake for my truck and it didn't light up ... so I unhooked it and checked the fuse panel inside the cab and all of the fuses checked out fine so then I put a voltage meter up to it and it didn't read anything!!!! so im scratching my head trying to figure this out ...does anyone know how to solve this issue!!!???
ok I did that , im getting 14 volts to it now and I hooked up the trailer brake and it wont light up or anything ...it came from my brothers chevy avalanche and it worked and lit u but I got an adapter so I could put on mine and the wiring is weird on it like on the trailer brake wires it says
+ black wire (positive battery)
- white wire (negative battery)
x red wire (glod? side of stopling??)
blue wire (brake out put to trailer)
the paper for it is worn for the last 2 colors
so how would I need to wire that up???
