Even better! Thanks FTF.

Just an FYI: My family and I are Moving to Australia next year and the ol' truck is going with me. Octane in Australia is 95, 98, 100! Should run like a raped ape!

Just pulled the no. piston and checked the numbers on the rod and piston
Rod - C5TE
Piston - C5TE6110T

You'll also eat away at your ring land.

As mentioned, you'll have plenty of space. Here's a diagram of the factory dimensions.

Thanks for the blueprint Trozei! My Deck Clearance seams to measure at .060" so I have plenty of room for the new forged slugs!

Here are the new and old side by side. Stock diam. 3.98" and the TRW diam. 4.022 (TRW L2446F-30)

Thanks Trozei for letting me hijack your Thread for a bit. I'm sure the info we discussed can helps other as well.

I just stopped by the place with my block and he said to give him another hour and it will be ready.

Nope. I went back to the machine shop like I said in my last post and the guy wasn't there! I've been working longer hours than normal this week too so I haven't had an opportunity to stop by. I've been wanting to all week.

Trozei (Jackson),
I'm assuming your a professional photog. These images you're posting are unbelievable. Literally, you're making any part of a 300 look like it belongs on the wall of an art museum. Keep up the great work.

Thank you, but I'm not at all a professional. I have however received a lot of advice and criticism from professionals which has helped me significantly. I have Photoshop set to automatically watermark the photos. I started down this when I noticed my photos showing up elsewhere online. For example, search on Google for a 1969 F100 or a 1977 Highboy. You'll see my pictures right away and they're hosted on various websites that I have no affiliation with.

Not custom but they are not stocked in many places because they are a low production item, so they typically need to be ordered and Probe will make a set.

I got fed up with working the same hours that the machine shop was open, so I sent my dad down to go pick it up for me. It costed a whopping $30! Which was a happy surprise. The big name shop around town would charge $100. I completely forgot how grey cast iron is. I'm so used to the brownish colour. This is actually the first time my young eyes have seen a true as-cast grey.
