Towing Mirrors?

Okay I have seen swing out style OEM mirrors that have the mirror head on a slide and you can extend it out for towing. Anyone know where I can find those?

I found Extend A Mirror, which was what I was looking for but they are out of stock on select parts. I will have to call and see if they are still available.

This place - 2 Blocks for the Extend-A-Mirror - appears to have the blocks. If I'm not mistaken, the only remaining part is the arm itself, which appears to be just flat stock aluminum that one could probably fabricate.

I think I can make my own, might not be as fancy but would still function the same. Probably just use bolts and have to manually remove bolts and position the mirrors when I know I will be towing. Not a problem for me because I only tow a travel trailer so not an everyday thing.

I did that on my old truck. Worked fine. Just use a piece of flat aluminium

Thanks!!> I just ordered 2. Apparently they are the ONLY ones that sells them. They had to go to extend a mirror and have them make 1000 sets

Or you could just fix one big round mirror to each side and see all you want to see. I have the swing away style and drilled a hole on the arm to bolt the 4" mirror to. I pull a 34' travel trailer and a 4 horse on occasion. I can see for miles. It's about $4-7 for each mirror and 10 minutes of install time. Just my .02

The problem is if the trailer is a 102" then the swing aways are not wide enough to see around it
