slow accel when cold and p2286

Since it has gotten cool outside my truck is back to not having any power or acceleration when cold. About 10 miles and it is fine.
Also I got a code 2286 injection pressure high. Are these related? I cleared the code and it has not returned.
The truck is completely stock.

What motor? It usually helps to know so you can narrow down common problems with that particular one.

I start the truck and let it idle for 2-3 minutes or so, but that is all. My commute in it is about 20 miles each way

Can anyone tell me if I need to change the icp due to the 2286? it is over pressure, not low pressure. I have not found much about pressure too high code. I do not have anything except a generic code reader.

I know my 7.3 is a slug if I don't let it worm up but in that case i'll treat it as if their is an egg under the peddle.

Have you tried posting in the 6.0 section?
