Touchscreen not working

The touchscreen for radio, navigation, etc. stopped working. Completely locked up. Anyone else experience this? My truck is a 14 with less then 3000 miles.

I would take it in. It needs a master reset.

Mine does that every now and then, mainly in the entertainment page but it usually catches up eventually.

Randy- an alternative to try before running it into the dealer: Disconnect both batteries for a few minutes, give the whole system a "reboot". These newfangled computers on wheels need a good ole fashioned ctrl-alt-del every now and then too, it would seem

Personally with only 3,000 miles, I'd let the dealer take care of it. Why chance either screwing something up or masking a problem that can easily be taken care of now. Warrantys are there for a reason

Yeah no I totally get that....was just mentioning a quick/easy "try" if say his nearest dealer is 2+ hrs away or something...

My dealer is only 20 minutes away, but I would still disconnect the batteries and reboot everything before I would drive there and wait for them to get around to it. If it did it a second time, I would take it for service. Just my opinion though.

Just wanted to give an update to this thread. So I took the truck into a dealer, not the dealer I bought the truck at, and had it looked at. Talked to the mechanic and he said it was a control module. Brought the truck back a few days later to have it repaired/replaced and they replaced the touchscreen with a new one. I didn't get to speak with the mechanic that day but the printout from the service rep said it stopped working due to an electrical failure. So far the new one is working as it should.

My 2015 screen failed before I got home form the dealership.
They replaced the screen and it worked for about a day.
Replaced it again with a new screen and it would not work at all.
Replaced it again along with and some other electronic component out of a new truck sitting on the lot. All that with about 100 miles since new, but has functioned flawlessly since. Only 3000 miles total now though.
