Master Reset
So I "upgraded" to Sync 3 3.0 from 2.0. This was a bad idea. I now have a wifi prompt for updating every time i start the car and it is defaulting to AM radio on startup. I did this to get Waze to work and I sure as heck can't figure out how to get Waze to work.
Anyways. . . . does anyone know if you can roll back an update? The 2.0 was significantly better operationally. On my build traffic worked.

I had the wifi prompt at first as well. I turned wifi off. It turned itself back on the next time I started, however the update prompt was no longer there.
I wish I could help you on the defaulting to AM radio thing, but mine stopped doing that as well.
As for rolling back, heres what a google search yielded. Our trucks are very similar to F-150s, especially the sync system. It's all the same stuff...

All you have to do to get the wifi prompt to go away is to sign to any wifi network. I had the same problem for about a week and finally just signed into the wifi at work and I haven't seen it since. I've been pretty happy with 3.0. No issues that haven't been resolved .
