70's front on a 80's Chassis
Has anyone ever put a 70's front grill, hood and fenders on an 80's chassis?
Keeping the 80's cab?
There are plenty of 80's F150's for sale and cheap, I just don't like the front ends look.

No have not seen it done, because even after you swap on a awesome looking 73-79 front clip, you will still have the life less plain Jane boring bed line....
They call it a "bullnose", that term did not help is either, a 80's and up, is still fugly IMO. lol
Maybe a dress up with a tube grill and push guard would help..probably not, but worth a try.

1980 and later is totally different. If it was possible (which I doubt) to install a front clip from a 1973/79, it wouldn't line up properly and would look horribly out of place.
The 'bull nose' moniker only applies to FTE, cuz that's what the members of the 1980/86 forum call it.
I never liked the looks of the front end of these 1980/86 trucks, to me and others when we first looked at them (at Crenshaw Motors in L/A), reminded us of 1977 Couriers.
Both have a stubby front end with slanted headlamp doors.

You look at the gauges at night....lol I turn mine all the way down. Who would not give a new rig a test drive at night also?
That way you can easily ck all the dash/interior lights and to see how bad the night blind spots are going to be.
