help identifing engine

When I got my 1966 F100 the PO said his previous owner told him that the engine was from a 1979 and was a 302. A friend of mine noticed the O2 sensor on the exhaust header which would indicate 1982 or later I think. Is there a way anyone here can add to the year search to identify the engine (PS I have identified that it is a 302 and not a 351.)
When the starter was removed, the number I copied was EOAE D3C00 4B20

My forum (1966) said I copied it wrong, but I don't think so. The D3C00 could be 6300 but it sure looked like D3C00

does the fuel pump shape look familiar, it is different from 1966.

I'm trying to clean up the engine with new parts, but don't know the year, so when I order parts, its would help

the number starts with E0 (zero instead of capitol o). based on what I've read, it appears to be from 80-85ish...there are E5AE casting codes for a 302 also. if 4B20 is the date code, that would make it an 1984, Feb 20th

1965-1972 Ford Car Engine Identification Tag Codes - FORDification.com

"Look at the casting number on the passengers side of the motor in the back. It'll start with a letter, then a number, then two letters, either AE or TE (example: C7TE or C7AE) If it ends in TE then the motor was originally in a truck. If it ends in AE it was originally in a car"

If it ends in TE then the motor was originally in a truck. If it ends in AE it was originally in a car.
Where did you come up with this info? It's incorrect.

Here's a coupla examples with the correct info:

Block casting number: D1VE-6015-AB = 1971/73 Passenger Car 429 / 1971/78 Passenger Car 460 / 1973/78 F100/350 & 1975/78 Econoline 460 / Some 1979 F150/350 & Econoline 460.

C5AE = 1965 FE block casting number prefix used with both cars & F100/350's. The 1980 E0AE block casting number prefix was used for cars/F100/350, Bronco & Econoline.

E0AE block casting number prefix with 4B20 date code: Block cast February (B) 20 1984 (4).

(sigh) It's the same old story: People without Ford Parts Catalogs, without Ford parts experience, usually have no clue, and...

Casting numbers are foundry marks, cannot be cross referenced to Ford part numbers.
