About a month ago, I HPOP died (T-500) it was 3 yrs old but Clay took care of me! I can not ever say enough good things about RiffRaff. In the mean time while it was away, I installed a used known working stock HPOP and I got my truck back on the road. Well the truck started losing its gusto and was lacking in power. I ran diagnostics with my buddies DashDAQ tool and got P0476 and P1211. Well sure enough my Exhaust Back Pressure Tube was clogged, I cleaned it out and that code went away. Now I set it up to monitor ICP and IPR Duty Cycle and a couple of others since I was there and when my ICP is plugged in its reading at idle is 3200+ and the IPR is 4.7....obviously something is off here. Truck runs smooth at idle and drivability is fine, just no guts. Now if I unplug the ICP it lopes like it has a big cam in it, IPC reading is 720+/- and IPR is 14.1 but she has her power back. I have swapped ICP's w/ a buddies who's was working fine and that did not change anything so I swapped them back. When I replaced the HPOP, I also rebuilt the IPR. I've been banging my head on this one for a week now and I think its time to consult with you guys.....please any and all advice suggestions welcome. https://www.dropbox.com/s/6wri7br7lz...27.33.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/4arzxwvjh2...26.28.jpg?dl=0
I think your IPR rebuild went awry, not to challenge your skills - that needle in the middle is fussy. At 14% IPR, the stock HPOP is unable to provide more than about 700 PSI - but 3200 PSI at under 5%? The ICP is loopy, the IPR is stuck, or both. After fixing the IPR, I'd verify the accuracy of the ICP.
Tyvm Tugly........well I guess I'm going to pull that sucker back out. I will post results.......
Double check the orientation of that little needle. I vaguely remember a post from several years back where someone installed that thing backwards and experienced similar symptoms as you describe.

I was thinking the same thing. When the needle is reversed, the pressure goes crazy-high.
Tugly and Snake......I can not thank you enough! I would have never thought to pull my IPR apart but as my buddies would say...."I Todd'd it" I pulled the IPR apart and sure enough, I had the damn little piece in backwards. Fixed it and what do you know....everything was happy!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.........THANK YOU VERY MUCH.........THANK YOU VERY MUCH.........THANK YOU VERY MUCH.........THANK YOU VERY MUCH.........THANK YOU VERY MUCH.........THANK YOU VERY MUCH.........THANK YOU VERY MUCH.........

Glad we were able to help. Good to hear your truck is happy again.
Congratulations! Now you'll be the resident IPR expert for the next guy.
LOL.....I will definitely try to help when I can!
Also I had to give my buddies programmer/scanner back to him since I fixed my issue....so now I'm playing w/ the Torque Pro android app! I think I may pick up that fancy tablet holder you mentioned in another thread!
I like it. I just hop in the truck, poosh dee botton, then turn the key - and I'm-a Torquein'.
Some people don't like the idea of dealing with all that stuff, but mine is set up to be so convenient that it's second-nature - like clicking a seat belt before driving off.
