Manual Shift 5R110W??

Just wondering. Is it possible to fix up a 5R110 so that it is shifted manually? In other words have switches setup that activate the shift solenoids that uses no computer?

OK. It can't be manually shifted with a computer hooked up. That really doesn't answer my question. Its probably not possible anyway, but I was just curious why not.

It *IS* possible. All you need to do is to create a computer and the programming to do it. The stock computer and programming are not capable of doing that.

I would imagine the timing would be the big thing. What voltage are the solenoids setup for?

I would probably never do this project but the idea is interesting. There is a lot of things happening to make one of these transmissions shift and it looks like the timing and sequence would be critical.
