anybody have one? I never notice it wasnt there,i need the rod(tube?) and clip's that fasten it to the carb and tranny,i have the 351m. THANKS
I don't have one but just so you know, not having the rod on a C6 isn't critical. All you lose is the kickdown to passing gear. It won't damage the tranny.
They are nice to have but an quick fix is to turn your modulator in 1/2 turn. This will give you more vacuum response when needed for kick down plus give you just a bit later shift and also firm up the shift. If 1/2 turn doesnt do it you can go a full turn but if its tight at all stop or you will rupture the modulator. Since the 351 likes a little more RPMS you will probably find a little more power then you had.

are you talking about the taking the vacum hose off and the screw inside?
yes the vacuum line at the trans. Inside the modulator there is a flat head screw. turn it in 1/2 turn and put the vacuum line back on and take it for a drive.
