I just had this thought. "Never put dirt to clearcoat again - promise me. OK good... now go run with scissors with your brother." That's just my head doing what it does.
I have a grand daughter that's just as charming as girls get - until she doesn't get something she feels strongly about. She has since learned grandpa isn't so charming when he doesn't get what he wants... like a grand daughter's good behavior. We have come to an agreement we can both live with.
I had a great uncle that summed child rearing up to me one time "Make good citizens of them." I had my epiphany with that one simple summary - we're not raising children, we're training adults. It permanently altered my approach to child rearing.
I think the headlight is a great idea over wiring in some led's. I had one that I used when working inside boat engine rooms until my daughter seen it and now who know where it is at. She took it out of my toolbox. I'll have to get another one and try to hide it in the toolbox in the bed. But with my luck and my daughter being so nosey she'll find it. I'm not real good at telling her NO. Ok actually she always gets her way.
haha!!!its why i have about 8-free led mini flashlights. The ones from Harborfreight...she has all the colors' available..lol Got 2-stuffed away from her paws.
