Please help identify this part..?
1994 5.8, Econoline/club wagon. This is under the engine cover.

There is a small plastic tube coming off of this part that broke. I taped it up but dont think that worked very well. I dont know what part this is or what it does. Thanks.

Repairing broken plastic vacuum line, can be done with slipping a piece of 5/32" rubber vacuum hose over the plastic line, or using heat shrink tube.

The tape will just fall off over time.
