I just ordered a can of Dupli-Color Ford Red gloss, and a can of Dupli-Color gloss Black to be prepared for when my new improved water pump comes in Tuesday.
But I have this question that is nagging me, from drawings and b&w photos it appears the block and valve covers were gloss, but I can not tell what kind of gloss the pulleys and fan was.
Does anyone know if they were gloss or semi gloss?
I was thinking about buying a can of Eastwoods Underhood black but they have bad reviews for durability since it is acrylic lacquer. They also have a Matte black that they say is for older cars but for some reason I just feel that they would have used the same black on the black components as they did on the valve covers but I want to be sure as I hate to have to do this twice.
