53' wheel and tire combo question

Ok, so I know there's hundreds of wheel threads on our site but every situation I read is different and with too many variables. But I think mine would be black and white. I have a 53' F100 3 spd on column and stock except for the motor (312). Cost is what is driving all of this. Im 2 years into this and I'm getting close to driving it now. I need to put wheel and tires on and want a slight forward rake. An inch or so I'm guessing.
I will be doing a reverse eye and/or drop y-hanger to get her down. Might look into one i read about that says it centers the front tires in the wheel arch. Don't know yet...I do know that I want the front fenderwell to be slightly above the rim and the rear fender to be higher than that but still on the tire. If that makes sense. Rim size and tire size are completely up in the air. 15" I see is less expensive but I'm thinking 17's would fill up the fenderwell a lot better...but I'm not set on a particular size. No low profile tires. It just needs to fit the look... Again, price is the #1 priority. Not the way most would build their dream truck but I want to drive it and at this point that aint happening without some sacrifice. Anyhow, I like the ralley look with moons. Got them priced for $95 a piece. Front tire size? Rear? Wheel off set?? Would 4" backspace work?? Basically what setup would work?

I am getting ready to change the suspension on my 52. I am holding off on ordering the new wheels (already picked out) until the suspension is installed and I have used the old wheels to measure for all the correct sizing. This way I know everything will be as I want. I would hate for you to get new wheels then find when you change the suspension the tire rubs. If you want to figure it out now, here are two links. The first one gives wheel measurements, the second is a simple fixture the will confirm your tire and wheel combo will fit. Good luck.

Makes sense..nice tool also. I'll be making that for sure. I could use that tool to get all the measurements then let my $ make the wheel choice for me. Now its just down to wheel size, tire size and the way it looks put all together. This is one shot, one kill territory. I'm stuck with whatever I put on so I need to make a accurate, calculated choice. Thanks!

I got all my measurements and I used the recommended tool. I'm looking at 17x8 and was wondering if anyone has that setup on their truck (53-56). Would 30mm offset work?
