I am running 305's on my 00 on a 16x10 wheel, they rub on left turn lock in reverse, maybe it does it forward but I can't hear it. Just the left side too. Looks uber-cool if you ask me. Is it an 05??
before the posse arrives, I thought I would give you a heads up. There are a few factors involved. Such as what diameter and width of wheel you have. I think the best info is at the top of this section where it says FAQ's. They have a lot of good info on tire size and other itmes pertaining to the SD. If you don't see your answer there. Use the SEARCH button. Tire size question is one that keeps coming up time and time again. Usually the answers are already on the board. Also, some people get a little upset with newbies that ask questions before searching for an answer. Good luck.
If you have the 16 x 7 wheels, most people run 285/75R16. Some will do a 315/75R16 but that is pushing the envelope. The tire mfg's do not recommend that narrow of a wheel on that size tire.
I ran the 315's 75R16's Goodyear MTRs on my stock 16x7. dont recomend it. the tire defanantly wasnt going to fall off or anything well atleast it didnt in the 2k miles i put on them. took them off. the 16x7 wheel just pulls the tire in so far it LOOKS dangerous plus i dont know what brand you are going for but these goodyears said a minimum of a 8in wide wheel. actuly 8-10. so 7 is only .5 in on each side but when you put it on the wheel it looks kinda crappy if you ask me there is a pick in my gallery of my truck with the 315''s it looks good from the side, fills the wheel wells better but just not right on the wheels.. i went to an 8in wide wheel and i have a 350 with the 4in rear and a 2.5in spring lift up front and with my weld racing wheels 16x8 with the 315's it rubbed bad... sold the tires bought 285 75R16 seems to be a much better combination they are 33in instead of 35 but seems to ride better look better safer looking and well over all much happier..

You are right about using the search. Just keep in mind, it doesn't work like Google. You are going to have to do some digging, some research.
Very right about the posse. Why don't these guys just avoid the posts entirely? Yes, there is nothing new under the sun. But sometimes there are new perspectives, thoughts, ideas, experiences. If we didn't repost some topics, we'd go for days, maybe weeks without new posts.
