Another wheel size post.

I have searched through alot of the previous post's and have not been able to find an answer, so i'll just ask. I have a 1968 LWB 2WD F100 stock height, and would like to know what is the best wheel and tire size that will work without rubbing. I would like a 12.5" tire, but will go smaller to avoid rubbing. I don't do alot of offroading(mudding trails and so on), but i do drive through the desert roads alot. If anybody knows a good size for the front and rear i need it bad. Would like to use a 15" rim, but i need to know what rim width, offset, backspacing, whatever its called to use. Also I would like to use an all terrain tire. Thanks alot guys, oh and gals.

I researched tire height on a stock 1967 F100 so I could go a bigger wheel and smaller tire combination and retain the stock handling and driving. If memory serves me correctly the stock tire height is 29in. The offset is 0 and the original wheel was 6in.wide. on a 5x5.5 bolt pattern. I went with 17x8 wheels 0 offset and P245/65R17 tires I think my tire height is 29,1/4in tall. The 8 inch wide is no problem on front or rear I really think I could go 9s on the front and 10s on the back with no problem. This is all by memory so I may be off on the height by a 1/2 in. I am now looking for a set off 92-96 Lighting wheels for this truck and they are 18x9 front and 18x10 rear with a 0 offset. You can see my wheels in my gallery. I hope this helps
