How do you lower the steering column?
I'm trying to replace the shifter bushings on a 07 E350. Is it possible to lower the steering column to access the torx bolts that hold the bushings in place or do I have to remove the whole dash?
I found 2 bolts right under where the first bushing is, it looks like they are holding the column up so I took them out but the steering wheel won't drop.
