Our machines up at work have clocks on the screen so every time you look at the thing to see what tool or stage or point of the program its at for running parts you always see the clock on the thing and I've had a few moments where I wanted to beat my head into the door of the thing just if it meant making the day go by quicker.
Dang that sounds like a nice long but fun trip. I haven't been to Winchester since I took the written portion of my EMT test. Outside of work and a few tests every now and again for various certs I want to get I rarely do any extra traveling. What part of VA do you call home my good man?
home for me is Pittsburgh PA... where my tools and toys are at currently?? Va beach VA...

Bit far for your toys don't you think? I like to play with mine a little to often some days. I know what you mean about slow, we had one of our big suppliers for work orders move their plant to Mexico and they've been slow on sending work in and kept us in the dark so at this point we could be either seeing layoffs or shorter work weeks but at the same time we could start getting slammed for orders and I could be working 40 hours a week plus as much overtime as I can handle. Franky I'd rather have the 40 hours and then some with overtime just so I can build up some serious funds while I can. Beats working part time jobs for a whole lot less than overtime.
I know what you mean Shadow.I have about 4 different clocks that I have to look at all the time especially when transmitting on the radio.
I hate it to, one on every machine and one on the wall in the building but yet not one in the break room, might be for the best on that one come to think on it.

nahh i live in VA Beach... but home is back there... would like to move back to near steubenville OH but theres not any real work there anymore... the mills were the lifeblood there.. but when they shut down it killed the area...
I have one one each computer ( we have 9-10 computers in my office) Pllus 2 oon the wall in the office, plus one in the breakroom across the hall. And the one on the TV as well.

Where I live in VA you have to travel to find a good paying job anymore that treats you decently. No if's ands or buts about it. Unless you count 7-elven as a good place to work.

Thats a pure nightmare I would surely be doing that all night if that were the case.
same in HR.. your lucky if you have a short drive... mines 13 mile round trip... but its 30-45 min drive because of our traffic... back home you can be looking at 2 hr drive one way just for work.. and may not pay well even then... its a struggle back there..
Bout 50 mile round trip for me I think (I never pay attention to the trip counter so I really don't know anymore) but it only takes me 40 minutes to get there and that's with a stop in the morning for monster energy drinks.
