Doing good. Just working like usual. Picked up an hour of OT the other day. Will be getting another 4 hours of OT later this month. Ordered a new canvas wedge tent today.

Not bad man, overtime is a grand thing. We stopped doing that at work sadly but if we ever do it again you'll see me pulling all the hours I can pull during the week.

They told us all flat out one day no more overtime until we can figure out when we are getting a full workload back from one of our customers who had a plant move to Mexico so its been hard on me because I like making the extra money when I can. It is what it is though I'm just happy they haven't done any layoffs of folks in our department because I know I'm most likely the first one to go.

For us it was more we had to cut it or we would have been laying off alot of people.

Basicly thats what would of happened if we kept overtime, folks would of worked themselves clean out of a job. Thankfully management kept that from happening in a way that didn't set off a bunch of guys at the same time. Still stinks because I liked having that extra bit of cash at the end of the two week pay period.

For us it helped alot. They did alot of cuts to stuff for a few years. One year we didnt even get raises. They still ended up laying off about 25 people campus wide this past summer.

Yikes that's just wild, I'd rather see overtime get cut than to have budget cuts and layoffs anytime just so I wouldn't feel bad about someone losing a job, enjoy your dinner man I just finished a good one myself.
