It was a beautiful weekend here in the North East, probably the best one all year. So I took the truck for nice long drive.
After it got all warmed up I am cruising along about 60mph and let off the throttle to coast down a hill and the engine gets real quiet, I look down at the Scan Gauge II and see the FPW (Fuel Pulse Width) at 0. I have to admit I freaked out a little at first. Basically the injectors are shutting off. Of course they turn back on and truck begins to idle once the speed and RPMs ect. conditions are meet.
I know the truck has always done this since I had it, but this time I saw it on the SG2. It will only do this under certain conditions.
Anyone else have similar experiences? Maybe this is a trait of my tune.
Thanks guys, lots of info here about maintenance and repair but not much on seat of the pants driving experience. It drives a little different then gas trucks and sometimes I'm not sure how it's supposed to act so I have to ask. That's the best thing about this forum I have many others out there to compare to.
