I didn't change any hoses or the thermostat. I bought a new thermostat a couple months ago, and I attempted to change it when I did a system flush and switched to ELC. I couldn't get the thermostat housing to seal with the new thermostat so I re-installed the old thermostat. The new thermostat that I have (sitting on the shelf) is from a Ford dealer, but it looks a little different and wouldn't seal for some reason.

It's a little different and uses a different seal. Ran it for all of a month of so, then realized my truck liked the 203* thermostat better.

I'm a little too late to come get ya, but I too live there in Spring. I did the ELC flush/swap according to a thread here, and opted for the parts below. I read the comments about the thermostat looking different. If you follow these links you can read some niffty tech info about that whole ordeal. Hope this helps you
