need help, mounting FS2500 bypass.

picked up a nice used FS 2500 oil bypass filter system and not sure where to mount the thing..

I found the plugs for intake and return to filter on engine block but not sure where or how to mount the housing.. it has hoses that are about 4 ft long.

any pictures of units mounted would be good.

I don't have any pictures of mine, but its mounted horizontally on the outside of the frame, sort of opposite the fuel pump. I'm pretty sure thats where the instructions indicated. Just be sure you can slide the bolt that holds the filter housing in place rearward, without hitting anything. (its a cartridge element if anyone is thinking, what?) I could take a look at the instructions and get back to you. It was quite easy to install as I remember, although its been there since about 2001.
