Picked up a utility trailer from CL this weekend. Besides being a little rusty, it just needed new lights/wiring. Single, 6k axle with 6 lugs with 31 10.50s bit more than I needed but it never hurts.
Decent weekend here in NC, hunting Saturday morning took a shot at one running full steam ahead but didn't connect. Then racing that night got to meet a few guys from outta state that I had talked to for 6+ years. Rode the bike to Church Sunday morning then rode to morehead to visit my grandpa who is in rehab up. Ate lunch with my parents, and then it all went south when trying to catch one of there dogs that had got out the pen. Got a couple deep teeth marks on my right arm and 2 on my left leg right at my knee cap.
Sounds like you had quite a day Larry. I'm not fond of being bit by a dog. Last time was on my 13th birthday, I went to a friends house to show my bike my mom got me. Their dogs busted through the screen door to the front porch and just tore me up. I'm not a fan of Hospitals either...
Didn't go to the hospital, my ma works for a doctor so swung by his house an he called me in some antibiotics just in case. And I'm keeping it full of peroxide and triple antibiotics.
don't use that peroxide too awful much, if over used you can slow down the healing process. The fizzing and bubbles that we all grew up being told was the peroxide killing germs is actually the peroxide reacting with an enzyme in your cells, called peroxidase (shocker, right?).
I've only used it right after it happened then again this morning after I understand wrapped my arm. I am keeping it smothered in triple antibiotic though
The ointment shouldnt cause any problems unless you got a deep wound. If you do have a deep wound, over using the ointment could cause the surface to heal before the interior, which could then get infected, which would then mean you'd have to cut it back open to get the infection handled lol. I had to be careful last summer myself when I managed to stab myself in the knee and it went about an inch and a half deep.
