Injectors... how big?

Ok, here's the plan...

I'm slowly upgrading my truck. I have a PHP chip, 3" downpipe, 6637, free flowing exhaust so far.
Next up is Adrenaline HPOP, Injectors, intercooler... and eventually bigger turbo.

My question is, should I go with Stage I or Stage II injectors. I am wanting to run a D66 turbo from Bean's.

I do a little towing but not very heavy and not too often. Mainly a daily driver/drag strip truck.

how many miles on your current injectors? Might be interested in a swap shoot me a PM about the injectors. I think you'd be happy with the 2's. I enjoyed mine, but it's time for a change.

I was going to say get stage II's until I saw you want a d66. That turbo will only hold a stage I injector.

I went stage II's and would do it again for sure.

if your wanting to do a D66 then i would stay with the stage 1's being that the D66 is basically a modded stock turbo. stage 1's with a D66 should come close or right at 400hp anyways with electric fuel

I guess I just got a good D66. I have had no problems with it running 2's.

well hopefully soon I can get the T-4 mounting kit to run a bigger turbo. Then I'll be going to 238cc sticks

As far as I know the injectors are stock and at 170k miles.

Of course I would LOVE to put a modded H2E on it at some point... but it'll be a while before I can afford that. D66 is much more affordable and easier to install for now.

I would go with ones, you can always upgrade them to two's if you decide to go with a modded H2 in the future and the I's will be much more friendly to that D66, so it will last until you decided what to do with the turbo.

well if your going to change up the turbo plans down the road why not stick with the stock turbo w/ stage 1's for a little while then upgrade when you decide what to do about turbo???? stock turbo will last a long time with stage 1's. at least mine did anyways. 2 years so far with aftermarket injectors so around 40k miles. turbo has a total of 304k on it too. LOL

My two's have maybe 10k on them if that and yes they are AA.. If I was to do a swap I would want AA's to rebuild.
