Driprail trim

Wondering if anybody has tried putting ss trim on a unibody cab driprail? Is the driprail profile the same as other years that came with ss trim? If this is has been done before please provide part numbers or year models that I should look at to get the trim from. Thanks

Stainless steel drip rail mouldings were introduced in 1967, will not fit 1961/66's.

anything can be accomplished if enough time and energy is put into it , I plan on going scout in some wrecking yards when it cools off for things such as that off of other makes and models that I could modify to work

Bookmarked a thread on topic may find helpful, little more involved for my experience lever so I would have to look into what truck; Ford/Bronco, or Passenger vehicle where the contour of the drip rail is similar to the 61-66. Another option would be to purchase a section of SS, or metal stock w/ similar drip rail contour and use same method of patching sections to fit. Anyhow, food for thought??? There are several member in the 61-66 forum who are in the process of resurrecting their trucks so suggest browse these thread and see if a member is familiar, or done the procedure; if so, inquire in thread or email member. Finally, found from experience a good auto body person can repair/replace drip rail and can not tell; if an option, suggest get a couple quotes may find the cost reasonable and less labor intensive?? Anyhow, food for thought?
