Trim Question
Just wanted to reach out and say hello I just picked up an 85 F150 and I couldn't be happier with the purchase! I'm currently working on a couple small upgrades to the body and had a question regarding the trim. I've seen several photos online that have the long chrome trim going down the middle of the entire length of the body is there a particular name for this or does anyone know of where it could be purchased? I'd love to add it to mine!

I am sorry to say, you will not find that particular trim anywhere. Ford sold all they had years ago, and no one reproduces it. It was used only on the early 1985 model years.

I am sorry to say, you will not find that particular trim anywhere. Ford sold all they had years ago, and no one reproduces it. It was used only on the early 1985 model years.

Thanks for the reply! After searching through all the previous posts it does seem hopeless but I will keep my eyes peeled. Beautiful truck by the way! Is the wheel trim that you have on there the EOTZ-16038-A?

Those aluminum wheel lip moldings should be much easier to find, as they were an option from 1980 - 1986.

LARIAT 85 has a beautiful truck and demanded original parts for restoration. If your budget is not as deep and your goal is not necessarily a 100% original truck, you might find something to your liking in the after market. I will attach a link of just one example:
