Removing axel housing and replacing
Hey guys,
Just changed all my axel seals front inner axel seals and everything else on the fronts, I went to change the rear axel seals and the passenger rear was completely blow apart and put a huge groove in the spindle of the axel housing. I talked to ford about putting a sleeve on it but they said the only was to fix it was to change the axel housing and I found a company that can machine me a new spindle and cut and weld onto the housing. I am leaning toward buying a salvage axel and installing it myself but I can't find anywhere on the internet to research how to swap an axel. This is for a 2008 f350 6.4 diesel I think the axel is a 373
