E40D shifting hard/stalling od flashing

Hey guys new to the thread. Ive got a 1992 F250 7.3idi 4wd and the e40d is acting up badly. The od light has been flashing and when i put it into drive it just shuts off everytime. No gear moves the truck. It just stalls out every time. The od light flashes as soon as the key is put in the ignition. When it did run it shifted hard causing the truck to hop so i havemt driven it in a a week or so and now it wont even move. What can this be???

The computer is trying desperately to tell you something.. so you need to pull the codes ASAP.

sounds like the converter is not unlocking.that's what will cause the engine to stall.did you inspect the solenoid pack connector yet?
