Ah... that's a cheapo Jensen head unit. Touch-screen, SD card for tunes, backup cam, HD radio, etc.... I'll eventually replace that when the market releases a decent App Radio.
What does that cup holder look like with the seat back folded up?
It looks really close to the ceiling - and empty - with my crap on the back floor. The unit locks into the center console when the door is shut. If I want to fold the seat-back up, I open the top to release the cup holder, put that away, then lift the seat-back.
I didn't realize it would come off that easily. I thought it had to be screwed on.
When you open the door to the center console, does the cup holder become unstable?
Say, you and Linda? each had a 46 oz Big Gulp loaded in the cup holders. Assuming the angle of the lid opening would clear the circumference of the cups, would you still open the lid?
Or does the closure of the lid secure the cup holder, and if you opened the lid, the weight of a couple of Big Gulps in the cup holder would send the entire thing flipping toward the floor?
