I'd like to add my congratulations also. Without your continued presence on this board there would be SO much misinformation about the 5R110. I've learned more about transmissions from you than I care to tell. Thanks again and again and again.

I was at the Lima Tank Plant several times between 1980 and 1982. One time they snuck me into a tank that had just come off the assembly line. Each tank went through a function test, and I got to ride along. It was quite a ride!

They had an open house for relatives, quite impressive how they handled the hulls like a child's toy. Also had one of the power units running on a stand then finished with a demonstration outside at the test track. I would not like to be on the receiving end of the Abrams.
I also got to see them close up at Fort Knox since I have family stationed there. The drive through tank wash is rather large....
