E-series Vacuum pump question.

Anyone have a diagram of the mounting and belt path?
Just curiosity really. Does it use the main belt or like
the 2 alt have it's own belt?

Sorry I don't do E series. I thought all 6.0's used a electric vacume pump.

Sorry no pictures but it uses one belt, once again a pain to replace what should only be a 15 min job got turned in to a nightmare

Three 10mm bolts and one vacuum hose connection later and it's out. You will need a power steering pulley puller/installer to remove and transfer the pulley over to the new pump. I agree it's not the most fun job to tackle. Usually a job done more frequently on E-350s since it causes a loss of power brake assist when this part fails, whereas E-450s use a hydraulic assist setup.
