Power Windows
I need some help. I have an 89 Bronco and a 91 F150 short bed both have power windows. The problem I have is if the windows are rolled down all the way the motor will bind up and you must remove the door panel and (tap)hit the motor a few times to free them.I've even had to take the wholr regulater out to free them up. this is getting very frustsrating. Any help will be appreciated. This happens on a weekley basis as my wife drives one and my son drives the other and neither one knows the meaning of DON'T ROLL THE WINDOW ALL THE WAY DOWN !!

Ahh, the ole window jammed down problem.
What is happening to cause that problem is the inside door panel will bow out when the window is fully down. That will bind up the power window regulator and stalls the motor out.
I have not really looked into my issue with the pass side window, but I think there's a track stop that is missing/broken that allows the window to drop down farther, jamming the regulator.
Few weeks ago there was a thread about this problem, I haven't heard anything yet about a fix.

I have looked at all the window tracks I can't seem to find anything is broken or missing I have noticed that there is this a little round stub out on the regular and once window goes all away down that stub is up against the track but I don't know if that's what's causing these to bind up any further help would be greatly appreciated
