Front brakes

One of my calipers is stuck, so after I replaced everything in the back I get to do the front. Question is that I beam looking pin that holds the caliper to the knuckle, I can't get that to come out. Soaked it over night, tried heating it. Where could I pick two of them up at? Think the angle grinder might come out... 82 ford f250 dual piston calipers

Most every caliper of that type I've replaced comes with the square spring pin. Ask at the counter if yours didn't come with one. Barring that, the "Help" rack should have them. ~Bill

You will need the hardware kit; includes the pin, "I" and anti-rattle springs. Rock Auto carries them if your local place doesn't. ~Bill

You did take the capture bolt out of it correct? I think it takes a allen wrench.

I see why it won't come out-the hook on the spring is caught on the caliper. You'll have to drive the one in the picture from the center out. ~Bill
