front brakes
along with everything else i have had to replace in th past two days. the shop told me I need new pads in the front. I have a haynes manual. It lists a few differnt styles of calipers. I'm not sure which ones my 91 has. I also not really sure i understand how to get them off. thanks in advance for any help

There are two "pins" that hold the calipers on. After you use a c-clamp to press in the piston, use a set of pliers to compress one end of the pin. While compressing the end of the pin, tap it with a small hammer. Once you get started, the pin should just slide right out. I hope that was a little more clear than mud.

thanks thats what i ended up doing. they were so crudy I had to look at them for a while to figure out whst to do. I kind of wish I bought new calipers too. mine looked a little beat. thanks for the help. I guess now i'll drive it around and see if i did it right.
