6.0 Injector error code question P0274
2007 F350, 4 wheel drive, long bed, Crew Cab later in the production year.
Purchased in the Denver area used a year ago with 75K miles now has 92K.
Using Rotella T-6 and Diesel Klean.
Driving across 170 miles of 2 lane Hwy (no cell service) last Sunday my engine started to miss so stopped at a rest area and restarted. Error code P0274 came up so luckily the Edge Insight CTS read the code. and said Cylinder 5 injector Heh.
Now I've been home in SW Oregon (500 miles later) since Sunday and want to figure out what options I have. The nearest dealership is in Medford Oregon about 140 miles away. They can get me in for service a week from now. I purchased a 4 year extension on the Warranty since this is my first Diesel. I want the repair to be covered by the Warranty if it's over the deductible.
3 Questions:
What acronym does HEH stand for?
What is the approximate cost of the repair for deductible purposes
Is there a way to find an authorized service listing (I'm in Brookings Oregon)
Thanks Richard

Not sure on the HEH. It's just #5 injector failing, or a wiring issue to the injector. Diag and injector replaced at the dealer is about $1,000.
If you have a Ford warranty, any Ford dealer. If it's aftermarket, call the shop and ask if they deal with it. Make sure this shop knows the 6.0.

Call 1 800 392 3673 and ask if there is a authorized location closer to you.
Replacing one injector is aprox 4hours labor + 2 hours diag. And parts
Now if you have a warranty, assuming its a covered part you will pay your deductible.
